I grew up in Seattle (I think about 1/2M people at the time), then moved to a town with under 6,000 people (that was a culture shock!), and now live in a nice little city with about 65,000 people in it.

I grew up in the 3rd largest city in the States. I’m such a big city girl.

The town I live in has around 500 people in it. The local high school has around 250-300 students in it total and it covers 4 or 5 towns. 🙂

I can’t remember the numbers, but let’s put it this way….it had one stop light and that’s how we gave directions.  lol

I might be the only person still living in the city I was born and grew up in, ha!

My city now has around 220,000 people, but has only started seeing a ton of growth over the past 5 years.  It definitely has a small-town feel, though.

I grew up in a rural “suburb” that does not even take up 3 square miles, and including the villages around us, I think we reach 12,000. I now live in a city that has 170 square miles and the metro area has I think, 233,000.

It’s kind of funny, FH spent the largest chunk of his life in a city 3 times the size of our current city with 1.33 million residents. I think the city we’re in is huge and he barely considers it a city.

I’d guess somewhere between 1000 and 10000 although I don’t think it counts as a city. Town maybe?

I grew up in Boston, MA around 600k people!  I absolutely loved it.  My graduating high school class had close to a 1000 graduates.
