halos and 3 stone rings are my least favorite rings, so while I’m not a fan it shouldn’t matter what “I” think.

It’s hard to say without knowing your ring size what the diamonds could be (for me anyway).

I personally don’t like three-stone rings, but I know a lot of people who do. I think most people don’t compliment rings unless they like them, unless you are specifically soliciting their opinions. I never ask or talk about my ring, so I’m pretty sure the people who do say something actually mean it.

Blow Up Pics on the Internet / WBee are confusing / deceiving to the eye.

So I won’t be “guessing either”… maybe you could tell us WHY this is such an important issue to you…

“Oh it’s so nice”… could mean a multitude of things… who cares what other people think.

YOU should LOVE it solely BECAUSE it is a symbol of the LOVE and PROMISE that YOUR FIANCE has with you.  Period.

A little less than a carat for the center stone and each side stone looks like 1/3 carat.

@Bond7:  I like three stone rings.

Perhaps you do not love your own ring and are taking it out on other people who love theirs.

^ I don’t like ridiculous statements like that, though.  I’m also not a fan of the carat guessing game.  Anyway, your ring is really pretty!

Wow, that’s a stretch. She’s not taking anything out on you, she’s just saying it doesn’t matter what other people think of your ring as long as you love it.

Anyway, you can still think something is nice even if it’s not your personal style. I don’t really like three-stone rings (as in, I wouldn’t wear them), but I still think yours is pretty and suits your hand well.

1/2 carat center and 1/3 carat sides?

@Bond7:     I was going to guess thecenter was .75, if it matters…

I personally don’t think it’s a big deal that you posted and asked this. It’s crazy that because of finger size, cut of stone, style of setting, that diamond size looks different on so many different people! I think that when I look at someone else’s ring I think it is bigger, I’m not sure if others do that as well. I was going to guess .75/.80 for the center stone and .30/.40 for the side stones.

Three stone rings aren’t my favorite, but when the side stones are larger, as yours are, I think they can be quite lovely!

I’ve wondered this about my ring not because what other people think matters but because sometimes I see rings on WB that are larger carat size than mine but look smaller or the same as mine.  So I confess that I’ve been curious if it was a figment of my imagination or not.
