Im just curious as to what other people think of my ring, I love it but what size do the diamonds look? Everybody else says “oh its so nice” but of course people are going to say that. How do you feel about three stone rings? Thanks
Sorry the picture is so big I dont know how to make it smaller! 🙂

halos and 3 stone rings are my least favorite rings, so while I’m not a fan it shouldn’t matter what “I” think.

Center .5 side stones .35?

It’s hard to say without knowing your ring size what the diamonds could be (for me anyway).
I personally don’t like three-stone rings, but I know a lot of people who do. I think most people don’t compliment rings unless they like them, unless you are specifically soliciting their opinions. I never ask or talk about my ring, so I’m pretty sure the people who do say something actually mean it.

Blow Up Pics on the Internet / WBee are confusing / deceiving to the eye.
So I won’t be “guessing either”… maybe you could tell us WHY this is such an important issue to you…
“Oh it’s so nice”… could mean a multitude of things… who cares what other people think.
YOU should LOVE it solely BECAUSE it is a symbol of the LOVE and PROMISE that YOUR FIANCE has with you. Period.

@vmec: I wasnt a fan of Halos either, but Ive always loved three stone. Im starting to really like Halos now though. While I find regular solitaires classic, they are too plain for me 🙂

A little less than a carat for the center stone and each side stone looks like 1/3 carat.

@This Time Round:
My ring size is a 4.5, but the ring is too big (after being resized a few times) and is a size 5.
I know I should love my ring, and I do, I even said that. You sound mighty bitter and I am not sure why, when all I am doing is asking opinions. You do not need to capitalize every second word to make your point. Perhaps you do not love your own ring and are taking it out on other people who love theirs.
Here is a far away shot I took on my iphone, I dont know how to make it smaller, but this one will seem less blown up!

^ I don’t like ridiculous statements like that, though. I’m also not a fan of the carat guessing game. Anyway, your ring is really pretty!

Wow, that’s a stretch. She’s not taking anything out on you, she’s just saying it doesn’t matter what other people think of your ring as long as you love it.
Anyway, you can still think something is nice even if it’s not your personal style. I don’t really like three-stone rings (as in, I wouldn’t wear them), but I still think yours is pretty and suits your hand well.
1/2 carat center and 1/3 carat sides?

For anybody who was wondering here are the stats:

@Bond7: I was going to guess thecenter was .75, if it matters…

I personally don’t think it’s a big deal that you posted and asked this. It’s crazy that because of finger size, cut of stone, style of setting, that diamond size looks different on so many different people! I think that when I look at someone else’s ring I think it is bigger, I’m not sure if others do that as well. I was going to guess .75/.80 for the center stone and .30/.40 for the side stones.
Three stone rings aren’t my favorite, but when the side stones are larger, as yours are, I think they can be quite lovely!

I’ve wondered this about my ring not because what other people think matters but because sometimes I see rings on WB that are larger carat size than mine but look smaller or the same as mine. So I confess that I’ve been curious if it was a figment of my imagination or not.
