Hi bees! I’m looking to make a few photobooks from Adoramapix–two parent albums at least, and possibly one for me if I like the parent albums enough! However, there are so many size choices. How do I know which size is right? Should it be portrait? Square? Landscape? Is 12×12 too huge? Is 6×9 too small?
So, I’m asking you: What size is your photobook? Doesn’t have to be from Adoramapix. And if you did a different size for your parent albums versus the album for yourself, please share the parent album size (since that’s what I’m working on now). I just really have no idea what would be best, and am looking to hear what others have done. Thanks!

I got our wedding album as a 12×12 from Shutterfly. I think that the size is perfect. It is a very important occasion after all! We also got 8 x 12’s as parent albums. And they loved them.

@nutMeg13: Thanks! Do you have any problems storing the square photobook? I wonder how it fits into a bookshelf.

I believe ours is a landscape 8×10. If you do a square one you may end up cropping quite a bit of your photos if you want to do any pages with a full bleed.

Square 12×12. I think they look the most formal.

I put together our wedding album using Adoramapix. Our album was a 10×10 square and the parent albums were 8×8 square. I thought both were a good size.

Going for 11.5×15. Can fit a lot of photos on one page and have gorgeous full pages.
