I started looking into plates for our reception, and I was wondering what size plate would be the best for hors d’oeuvres? I want to get the clear plastic kind.
We will be having chicken tenders, meatballs, fruit and vegetables, cheese, mini quiches, finger sandwiches, and chips & salsa.
Thanks In Advance

Snack/cocktail size. You’ll need twice as many but it’s better to have small plates and encourage seconds than big plates that can get heaped high before others get a chance at the food.

So 7 inch would be good? Or….?

5″ plate might be better than 7″. The smaller the plate, the bigger your appetizers will look on them, and the easier it is for guests to balance them on top of a cocktail glass.
