Do you want the centre diamond to pop or would you like the diamonds all to be of equal size?

I’d go for this setting.

If you want something like this….it will be your 1ct center end .25 ct on each side 🙂

I think .25 ct side stones will be perfect.

My center stone is about 1 ctw and my side stones are about .25.  I think that the proportions are great…good finger coverage but it still lets the center stone pop.

Mine is a 1.1ct center and I believe the two side stones are .25ct or less.

@showmethebling:  I like the look of two different types of 3-stone.  The first is pretty classic.  Here’s a 1ct center with two .25 side stones (as other pp’s have said).  It would look gorgeous!

Although I don’t usually like halos, I really like 3 stone halos.  Here’s Bee HeatherMM‘s.  Gorgeous!

Mine is a 6 prong set .94 center diamond with .15 (each) side diamonds semi-bezel set flush in the shank. It’s a hybrid in that it has the side profile of a solitaire and the top view of a 3 stone.

I think typically the side stones are 25% the weight of the center stone.  I have a 1.6 center stone and my side stones are .45 each, so the tcw is 2.5 cts.

I don’t have a great photo of my ring on my hand, but you can see it here.

My center is 1.10 and my sidestones are about .33 or .34.  The center is raised higher.

0.25 will compliment it nicely!
