I can’t find an answer to what size i should get my table overlays
I will have 60 inch round tables and 72 inch banquet tables
I liked a silver taffeta pintuck overlay i saw but it was 108 inches long. Is that too long for both of these tables?
What size did you buy for your table overlays

On a 60″ round table fabric corners will drape down about 12½” off the rim of the table (approximately to one’s lap). This is a 60X60 overlay.

@fuentesbee: Are the overlays round or square?
A 108″ round overlay on a 60″ round table will overhang 24″ all around which is fine.
A 108″ square overlay on a 60″ round table will have a hypotenuse of 152″ (the length from corner to corner on the overlay). Tables are usually 30″ off the floor so the maximum length you would need is 30″ x 2 ( the height on each side) plus 60″(the width of the table) = 120″. A 108″ overlay would hang on the floor by 16″ at the corners on each side. I would use a smaller overlay.
On the 72″ banquet tables the 108″ round overlay will have an overhang of 18″ all around which is fine.
The maximum length needed on a 72 inch table would be 30″ x2, plus the width of the table = 132″ so the overlay would still hang on the floor by 10″ on each corner. I would choose a smaller overlay.

@fuentesbee: I just realized I assumed the 72″ banquet tables were also round. If they are not let me know and I can recalculate for you.

Your table linens I’m assuming are 120″ for the 60″ round tables which will go to the floor. With that in mind he 108″ overlays will be fine. I believe that is what we had.
