(Closed) What sleep training methods have you used that work?

I’m not sure how the “no cry” solution works, but I Ferberized both my babies and it worked really well.

It only took about three nights and the longest they cried total was about 30 minutes before falling asleep. But I was very strict about the rules: Going in according to the time increments (5,10,15,20 etc.)

And it’s important not to pick them up, only comfort them verbally and giving a few pats on the back. If you pick up, you will have to start all over again.

Anyway, both kids slept through the night in their own beds. Some people might not the fact that the baby cries at first, but you are actually doing the best thing for them. And you. Everyone needs a good nights’ sleep:)

I haven’t done any sleep training (except swaddle weaning) but I know a user on here who had success with no cry methods.  Try PMing eurekaanchovies
