I love the idea of not walking down to the traditional wedding march (there is nothing wrong with it, just not for me). I am walking down the aisle to ‘Unchained Melody’ by the Righteous Brothers.

Indian Summer by The Doors. We wanted something unique and the lyrics are so beautiful…plus it’s been one of "our songs" for years.

My friend was the pianist at our wedding–he composed a special song for us. It was absolutely beautiful. Wouldn’t have had it any other way.

My maid of honor and I will be entering to Forrest Gump Suite played by a solo violinist. I think the transitions in the piece match perfectly with the transitions and ups and downs of life.

I’m walking down to an accoustic version of Stand By My played by 2 guitarists in our church. I’m so excited, I love it.

I’m not sure yet what we will be using for the BMs.   We’re still looking for the right song that will tie in with my song.

Hey DesertChildAZ – we’re using Ceremony for our intro into the reception. Such a fun party song. I love the M.A. soundtrack!

my bridesmaids are walking in to "Love" by Sugarland and I am not really sure what I want to walk to yet. Love is a soft song so I think I could mayube get away with walking down to Canon in D. I haven’t really found anything else I like yet.

I actually thought about Elvis Presley’s "Can’t Help Falling In Love", also. But I’m wanting the instrumental version. I just think it’s cute, and romantic. I’m not a BIG traditionalist on songs.

The girls I work with will be there, and they are all Elvis Presley And Beatles fans. I know that they would like it! lol.

But if I can’t get that, then Canon D. I’m still trying to think of something for Fiance and I to walk to  as we leave.

I’m dying to use the theme song to Bones to walk down the aisle, although I can’t really wrap my mind around how to do it – it’s so fast! But it’s a song that just makes me happy when I hear it, plus it’s a show the Mr. & I always watch together.

 What about recessional songs?

I think I’m going to do Little Martha by The Allman Brothers. It’s instrumental and very pretty. I’m hoping to have my uncle play it, but if not, I’ll go the iPod route. We’re doing the ceremony outside on a little patio at the venue, so there is not a ton of room for musicians. It fits us well, because they’re one of our favorite bands and the first time we ever danced, we danced to one of their songs at a bar. Then a week later, he took me to their concert. As for the walk back down together, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hoping my sweet man would take the hints and somehow recreate the "All You Need is Love" scene from Love Actually. So fun!

I’m walking down to Teddy Pendergrass "My Latest Greatest Inspiration". Haven’t decided on music for bridal party yet.
