We have a violonist and a cellist who will play “Picture of You” by the Cure for the bridal party’s entrance, and then “All I Want is You” by U2 for my processional.

Such Great Heights– a cover done by Iron and Wine. Fiance’s friend will be playing it on guitar. It’s very pretty and the lyrics are wonderful!!
As a joke we considered Duluth by Mason Jennings. You have to know the song to understand it…
I always used to think Glasgow Love Theme from Love Actually, but now I have major feelings for I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi. Serious shivers. However, I do love Canon in D and i like how classic it is… decisions decisions!!!
I walked down to a piano version of You Are My Sunshine.
I’ll be walking down the aisle to the Vitamin String Quartet’s version of In My Place by Coldplay
@blondebride2012: I’m walking down the aisle to Marry Me by Train! I cried the first time I heard it, the lyrics were so beautiful, and just knew it had to be the song. I think I am just going to start it when the bridal party begins their walk, and as much as I’d like for my entrance to be at the grand crescendo, it probably won’t happen. Once the walking is completed, I’m going to have my iPod handler fade the volume down.
I’m walking down to the beginning of “Clocks” by Coldplay. We are doing just the panio part. We LOVE it ๐ We are walking out to “Beautiful Day” by Bono. My girls will be walking in to Cannon in D which will then transition to Clocks ๐
The first lady of my church will be singing When I Found You by BeBe Winans
I’m thinking either:
“If I Were A Carpenter”- Robert Plant OR Bobby Darin
OR
“To Make You Feel My Love”-mick mcauley & winifred horan
Need help with this what do you all think?
Hhm, I was almost certain I would see my song here…. “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, sang by friends.
I am really torn between Pie Jesu (Royal Philharmonic) and Can’t Help Falling in Love (Vitamin String Quartet). I can’t decide. ๐
Maybe I’ll do one for the girls and one for me. Is it typical to do different songs?
etta james at last is what i will be using if we can get music down by the lake…uhmmm we shall see
I always thought that i would go the traditional approach but once i heard “fairytale’ by Taylor Swift, i knew that was the song ๐
