I’ve been searching for a processional song for
months, and I think I’ve finally found one!
Hopefully (we still have to clear it with our priest/church, but they seem to be pretty easy going), we will be walking down the aisle to “Carl Goes Up” from the Up soundtrack.
Other contenders were the instrumental versions of I Will Wait, Here Comes the Sun or Unchained Melody.
Any other inspiration you’d like to give to me? Especially in case my choice falls through (I will be so sad)!

My cousin is going to play a song on his guitar. I’m letting him pick out of these.
A version of the Shire theme song from LOTR.
Or River Flows In You.
I like the Shire song because its more upbeat and shows off my nerdy side. But I like the other one because its just beautiful. My mom is also a big fan of the second one. I’m letting him pick because I want him to be comfortable with what he’s playing. The second one is definitely harder and while I’m confident with his abilities, he’s not as sure of himself. So we’ll see what he’ll go with. =)

Currently, our plan is for myself, best man, and ushers to walk in to the James Bond theme (though some days I think the Rocky theme), and my fiancée will probably walk down the aisle to the main theme from Star Wars.

@Jabberwocky: See if you can find a version on organ. We’re doing ours on organ, most likely, after listening to versions we found online, we loved how it sounded – especially star wars.

Path of the Wind, by Joe Hisashi, the theme from My Neighbor Totoro.

@Duncan: We’re getting married on a beach in Hawaii, so an actual organ probably isn’t possible, but I haven’t ruled out a keyboard.

@Jabberwocky: Ah guitar is probably a very solid choice, then – I think a classical guitar would be the best sounding choice for that piece.
