I haven’t finalized the song choices.. yet! At least not together with my Fiance. These are just many possibilities. (FI gets to decide on most of the music, so music is his baby.)

I am very tempted to have Temptations’ “My Girl” as a processional, with my two flower girls and 1 Maid/Matron of Honor leading. Since my dad won’t be able to walk me down the aisle, this upbeat song reminds me of a chat we had many years ago. (He passed away earlier in November)

Bridal Entrance Possibilities! (Listed in order of preference)
Classical Genre:
– Spring from the Four Seasons, Vivaldi (even though it’s often suggested as a recessional)
– Rondeau, Mouret
– Grande Entree, Handel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LaQU941joQ
– or something by Claude Debussy
(Sorry, Mendelsohn and Lohengrin!)

Jazz Genre:
– This is as far as Wedding March as I would go: The Wedding Glide
– I will have to go through my jazz piano music collection to see which one I really like.

Since the church wedding is outdoors in the Rocky Mountains, it would be fitting to walk down to this Canadian legend:
– The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face, Gordon Lightfoot

All You Need Is Love by the Beatles

I think I will walk to Vitamin String Quartet’s version of Sweet Child of Mine by Guns n Roses. Love it!

I really love the studio version of Megafaun “hope you know”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daKxT1JGV04 (it’s live and slow).

I’m also a huge U2 geek, so I’d love to walk down to “All I want is you”. It would be so hard not to dance down the isle.

Probably will have this song at some point during our wedding. It got me through our LDR,

Not With Haste, Mumford and Sons

Ah decisions, decisions!

We’ve chosen an acoustic, music only version of “it’s because I love you” by masters and apprentices 🙂
