All these songs are great!! Did everyone have an actual musician playing these covers or did you have an audio track playing?! I have yet to figure all this out myself!

I had it all planned out – but nothing went to plan! Lol – oh well. My Maid/Matron of Honor was scheduled to walk at 0:12 and each Bridesmaid or Best Man after that was supposed to wait 12-15 sec before starting their respective walks. I was supposed to begin my walk at 1:21.

At rehearsal, I realized the aisle was shorter than I remembered so the timing was off. What we ended up doing was starting at 0:12, and when each Bridesmaid or Best Man got 3/4 way up the aisle, then the next Bridesmaid or Best Man would go. We allowed the bridal party to get settled at the front, and I started my walk early around 1:11. The DJ gently faded the music after I got all the way up the aisle and ended around 1:45.

hope that helps!

I walked down to “Walk With You” by Edwin McCain.  It’s from a fathers point of view and the beginning lyrics are perfect for an aisle walk down.

“I’ll take this slow sweet walk with you
You’ll let go of my hand to say I do
And he will discover just how blessed a life can be
I know ’cause all those years ago your mom handed you to me”

I have a very unique walking song now. I am in an Irish band, and we just recorded our first CD. We had a Kickstarter campaign to help find the album, and for one of the rewards, our accordionist would compose a song for the backer. My fiancé was extremely generous and selected this, so my band now has a song named after him. My bandmates are going to play the song for my walk down the aisle! I’m so excited; it’ll be so cool to have a completely unique processional!

I’m having my bridesmaids walk to Muse – Invincible, but I’m having it fade out after they are up the front and then walking to Johnny Cash’s cover of You’ll Never Walk Alone (We are both huge Liverpool Football Club fans and it’s an amazing song).. the best part is that the Johnny Cash song will be a surprise, so my fiance doesn’t know and thinks I am walking to Muse as well! I know he will absolutely love it because he wanted me to walk to the original version of the song 🙂

I haven’t decided yet if I will be using it for the processional or my own walk. “Crazy Love” by Michael Buble.

FutureMrsW2015:  I’m walking down the aisle to I Choose You by Andy Grammer. It’s such a sweet song and I think it’s perfect.
