For the prelude music (while everyone is finding thier seats) my FI’s buddy who is a music producer will be playing acoustic guitar, we haven’t figured out what to have the guys walk down to or my FI’s grandma and our moms. My girls and I will be walking down to Saeglopur by Sigur Ros. I plan on making my grand entrance at minute 1:53 since that is where the music gets so epic! We still have to figure out the rest of the ceremony music though.

My wedding is a bit different (not really traditional at all) but I still chose a really nice piece. I’m walking down to The Promise of the World from Howl’s Moving Castle by Nakanishi Kiriko. She plays the Erhu and with the piano it’s really beautiful. They have a harp version also of the song on iTunes, where I also purchased the song by Nakanishi Kiriko.

You can listen to the song here..

I’m playing a lot of music from Joe Hisaishi’s compositions and Hayou Miyazaki films since I love all the music from Hayou Miyazaki films. My prelude music comes from the films Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Howl’s Moving Castle.

The music that is playing when the parents/grandparents, and my fiance and officiant walk in is On a Clear Day from Kiki’s Delivery Service.
