I went oldschool – organ in a church to “here comes the bride”
I went oldschool – organ in a church to “here comes the bride”
I am walking down to Charlene Soraia’s Wherever You Will Go – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DChHEf0lpEE It’s so pretty!
I would recommend just the instrumental. You don’t want anytihng to distract people’s attention from that moment when you start down the aisle. I think words could make the music too much of the focus.
Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. With lyrics, not instrumental
My Future Sister-In-Law will be playing the guitar and singing Across the Universe. She’s learning the song just for us!
My bridesmaids will be walking out to Jason Mraz “I won’t give up on us” I will be walking out to The Wedding Singer “I wanna grow old with you”.. I know it sounds silly but it’s our song 🙂
Bridesmaids/seating of Mothers & Groom walking in: The Prayer, Celine Dion
Bridal processional: Ave Maria, Aaron Neville
We are high on drama at our ceremony, lol!
I’m walking out to the String Quartet version of Aerosmith’s “I don’t want to miss a thing” 🙂
My bridesmaids will walk out to the string version of “Everything I Do” by Brian Adams.
I’m walking to a thousand years by Christina perri with Steve kazee. With the words.
I had a cello and piano instrumental version of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. I loved it because it sounds so different from the original but was still beautiful
I walked down to an instrumental version of U2’s With or Without You. It was by 2Cellos. I think it’s beautiful.
Somewhere Only We Know
Not the Keane version but a cover by Max Schneider and Elizabeth Gilles
I’m using the words. I wouldn’t if it were a more formal wedding but I’m doing Destination, so using lyrics is more “casual” to me.
I walked down the aisle to a violin and cello version of “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. It was played live and there weren’t any lyrics. It was beautiful and took my breath away.
The topic ‘what song are you walking down the aisle to? words or instramental?’ is closed to new replies.
