@hgwells:  We looked at a bunch of different wedding blogs for reviews of different string assembles in NJ. We found that Music for the Moment in NJ had the best reviews and sounded most clear and experienced to us. And a plus was definitely that they would learn “A Thousand Years” for us. They were amazing!

@Bunni0929:  We are thinking of having the bridal party walk down to Trains-Marry Me and I am going to walk down the aisle to Chris Young’s-You, which is me and FI’s first song.  He mentioned me doing the instrimental version…but my favorite part of the song is the words..so I’m walking down to it…words and all ๐Ÿ™‚

@Bunni0929:  We actually had some issues with the music ๐Ÿ™ I was bummed out but it was still pretty and was the smallest error of the day. Haha.

@Bunni0929:  Family seating and BMs walk will to piano instrumental Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring. I will walk down the aisle to piano instrumental Canon in D. The whole ceremony is piano instrumental except for the recessional, which will be to “In My Life” by the Beatles (with lyrics).

So much variety! I love it.

@Bunni0929:  Agreed, we didn’t want to walk to anything “typical” — we didn’t want something someone else had used. We are so blessed to have a talent pianist as a close friend… who also composes. He wrote us a six minute piece for our wedding! It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s fun and happy, but not in a whimsical or goofy way. It’s easy to write a moving sad song, but he succeeded in writing such a joyful piece; and it’s totally and uniquely ours!

Bridal party will be walking down to A Thousand Years: Part 2 by Christina Perri. I am going to play around with it with my DJ to see if we can get the first verse of it (it’s my absolute favourite line in the entire song), then maybe switch over to the Piano Guys version of it for when they actually walk.

I will be walking down to Feels Like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk. We’re setting it up so I walk in on the line, “If you knew how happy you are making me, I never thought that I’d love anyone so much.” It holds a lot of history with us, plus for some reason, I always imagined it with our type of venue; playing in the background when I walk down to the beach with the waves crashing.

@Bunni0929:  I’m doing an instrumental.  I hate Here Comes the Bride (I played in band/orchestra for many years and really hated playing it), but I haven’t decided what yet.
