natasha0b :  The word you are looking for is the Recessional!! The song played when you walk back down the aisle after being married! ^_^

I am using an oldies song Sh-boom by the Crew Cuts. It’s upbeat and fun! Beware; once you hear it, its get stuck in your head! Sh-Boom, sh-boom! Yalalalalalalalala!

My fiancé and I are currently trying to decide the same thing! Right now our top contender is “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” (starring from the pre-chorus part)

We did ‘You Got the Love’ – the Florence and the Machine version – starts off with the best line and we all love the song so started it well! Though admittedly after the first bit we didn’t really notice much of it once we started the walk!

Heaven is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle.  Loved it!

With my late husband we walked back up to Darth Vader’s Imperial March.  It was so fun!

We did “You are the Best Thing” by Ray Lamontagne. It was honestly so perfect. We had our kiss, turned to our guests both laughing with our hands in the air and the song started with that awesome intro! It was super dramatic and so fun & upbeat!! So many people came up to me during the reception and commented on what a perfect song choice it was!
