Somewhere only we know- Lily Allen

Fits us perfectly. Some say it could be seen as a sad or somber song and there are multiple interpretations but we’ve been together for a long time and through the ups and downs we always find comfort in the very private and loving relationship we have. Love her version.

I haven’t quite decided yet because we’re still a year out, but it might be this one 🙂 Lights is my favorite singer and this is my favorite song of hers.

I’m trying to choose between My Girl by the Temptations and Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler. But then I also wonder if I might prefer something a bit more traditional. Good thing I have two years to figure it out! Lol

I walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Lucky by Colbie Caillat which is the song that was playing when my husband proposed.

“No Day but Today” by Idina Menzel (Live from Soundstage version).  DH and I had taken his daughter to see Idina in concert the summer before we got married, and I was blown away by the song. The lyrics were really meaningful to both of us, and as soon as I suggested the song to Darling Husband, he agreed.

We decided on the song together. We knew we wanted to use that song because he used it to propose and it’s always kind of been “our song” but we went back and forth for awhile over whether we would use it as a first dance song or for walking down the aisle. Besides my dress, I don’t think there were any wedding decisions he wasn’t a part of.
