I am down to 20 days before the wedding and am trying to decide on music. I am planning to walk down to an instrumental cover of Taylor Swift’s lover song. I am trying to find a song for my bridal party to walk down to. What did yours walk down the aisle to and what did you(the bride) walk down to?

I think this might just be a culture thing but where I am from the bridal party and bride walk down to the same song… I am using an instrumental cover of a thousand years, my bridal party will walk out at the start of the songe and I will walk out during the chorus when the music gets more dramatic.

This is actualy a really good idea. I will just have to find a good time for the transition since I have a pretty large bridal party. Thank you!

My bridesmaids and I will be walking down the isle to somebody to love by queen. wanted something fun and a bit diffrent to the normal small selection of songs that everyone seems to use. Also felt it was important to pick a song that would make the situation less intense/overwhelming and more focused on the happiness the day holds.

We all walked down to the same song, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Hysteric”, but it was a string version played by a violinist and a cellist. It was some of the best money we spent.

We chose Something Just Like This by Coldplay for all the big moments of the wedding:
Violin/piano instrumental: aisle walk (both bridesmaids and bride)
Acoustic version: first dance
Original version: exit at the end of the night.
This is “our song” – our favourite since it came out and somehow always played right at the best times throughout a lot of our relationship.

I chose Ed Sheeran’s Perfect, since that song is so lovely and always makes me cry!! Ours was also just an instrumental version- it was going to be played on the harp, but due to a light drizzle (at an outdoor park ceremony) the musician had to switch to the keyboard. It was still lovely and I walked down to the same song as my bridesmaids.

I did not have a bridal party but I walked down to “A thousand years” the piano and cello cover….also known as the song Bella walked to at her wedding in Twilight. It is such a beautiful song and it gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.

I did this exact thing but I had the lyrics in mine 😂
my bridal party walked down at the very beginning and once the song says “one step closer” and builds, the doors opened up and I started walking down right as she sings “I have died every day waiting for you”
it was such a beautiful moment

The girls walked down to a piano version of “Forever” (the one that Jesse sings to Becky from Full House). I walked down to a piano version of Highland Cathedral (song that has special meaning for my dad). (We had a friend who is extremely talented play these songs on the piano for us)
Hubby and I walked out to Can’t Hurry Love by Phil Collins.
