My Fiance and I are planning a very intimate outdoor fall wedding. He is awesome with his guitar and we both love the music of the 80’s. When we first started talking about marriage I said “you are going to think I’m crazy but I want to walk down the isle to Love Song by Tesla”, he got up and walked out of the room and came back with his guitar in his had playing the classical intro to the song. We have tried to find someone else to play for us the day of the wedding and I jus don’t get the same feeling that I do from him playing, so as my father walks me doen the isle my groom to be will play the tune on his classical guitar.
So I was just interested to hearing unusual songs that some of you have walked to or are planning on walking to!

As of right now, I’m going to walk to Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. We’re getting brass and woodwinds especially for the walk. :p (Along with the strings we already have). Hopefully it’ll be ridonk.

I’m going to walk into the hawaiian version of somewhere over the rainbow. It’s my FH favorite song and a surprise.

You Are MY Sunshine on violin .

I originally had another song planned, but the one I want now is a strings version of “Georgia on My Mind”.
If you’ve heard the original song, then you know the hauntingly gorgeous strings beginning of the song! It’s me.

The good ol bridal march. Originally, I was going to walk down to the piano music from
Konstantine by Something Corporate, but I’m getting married in a 100 yr old church and decided traditional would be more appropriate

What can I say? I’m totally in love with Canon in D, so that’s what I’m going with. Not the most original, I know. @50 — Arrival of the Queen of Sheba will be great with all of those instruments!

Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen 🙂 My dad died when I was 4, and I always assumed mom would walk me down the aisle. But she lost a battle to pancreatic cancer in 2005. However, she used to be a HUGE Queen fan, so I’m using that song in her honor. We wanted to play Queen at her funeral, but the church wouldn’t let us. Our wedding won’t be at a church, so mom will finally get her Queen.

I am still undecided on what I will walk down the aisle to. I wanted something different than the traditional wedding march since we are getting married outside and aren’t a traditional couple. I really like bellenga’s “Georgia on My Mind” and might test out that as an option, love the strings in that song!

I had a catholic church wedding and couldn’t use any modern music. We choose Canon D.

I’m most likely going to be walking down the aisle to a song my dad wrote for me when I was born.
I think it’s super cool that you’re going to walk down the aisle to your dude’s guitar playing. I had a friend who played the trumpet in a salsa song as his bride walked down the aisle. It was like he was calling her to him, and it was super sweet!

We are having a string group play “something” by the beatles as we walk down the aisle and then they will play “I’m yours” by jason mraz as we leave =)

As of right now, I’d like to walk down to Jon Schmidt’s Love Story meets Viva La Vida. I just don’t know how the timing will be with the bridal party walking in, since it switches to Viva La Vida at some point. And it’s not that bridal/traditional. We’ll see!
