Tweezer Reprise by Phish. It doesn’t have too many lyrics (so the song doesn’t “compete” with the DJ’s announcements) and it has a great build up that should stir our crowd up. 🙂
I can’t even sit down when I listen to that song…and we have great memories of times with our friends associated with the song.

we did “Let it Rock” by Kevin Rudolf. For some reason this song always gets me pumped and it for sure did at our reception!

For my sister’s wedding we were introduced to “Say Hey (I Love You)” — such a fun song! Totally reminds me of her wedding whenever I hear it.

My bridal party entered to “Ants Marching” by Dave Matthews. My husband I love Dave, and we were kind of down to the last minute to decide…(oops, we completely forgot until meeting with the DJ the day before that we needed an entrance song!!)

My fiance and I are Christian so we brainstormed through fun, danceable songs we heard on K-Love Radio and Air One, the free wifi radio station and settled on the Newsboys’ “Something Beautiful”. It is one of the happiest songs we came across and even has these lines in its lyrics:
It’s the child on her wedding day
It’s the daddy that gives her away
When we laugh so hard we cry
Oh the love between you and I
I also find it humorously relevant that the lyrics also say the following because I am coming from E. Asian culture which is known for being very conservative (not kissing in public although that has been changing a lot over the past 15 years and after all, this is all about a wedding where the groom kisses the bride in front of witnesses !)
It’s the voice that whispers my name
It’s a kiss without any shame
