I want to use Come Rain or Come Shine by Ray Charles. I love standards and old jazz, and it’s a great, romantic song.

As far as dance classes, I’m thinkin’ na, unless we happen to take them just for fun. I don’t want to put extra pressure on him.

I think we’ll be a little different on this in our wedding.. cuz my fiancee loves to dance salsa.. he was actually a salsa teacher for some time, so we’re dancing one romantic latin song, and then we’re dancing a song I LOVE featuring Al Pitrelli, Andy Timmons, Brad Gillis and John Petrucci, called Purple Rain (I really love electric guitar and my favorite guitarrist is Petrucci)

anyone else with weid wedding songs or choreographies?

We’re using “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbi Calliat.  It’ll be sung live by my Maid/Matron of Honor and a Groomsmen who are also doing a duet in the ceremony.  Love it 🙂

We are dancing to “Free” by Zac Brown Band. We both have country roots so we thought it was fitting. I’ve been using the line from the song “We’ll end up hand in hand, somewhere down on the sand, just me and you” everywhere as we’re getting married on the beach. 🙂

We’re going to use “I just called to say I love you” by Steve Wonder. It’s not a traditional slow song, but it’s kind of the only love song the two of us both like (we’re not super lovey kinds of people, making us perfect for each other)

We are dancing to “The Wedding Song” by Peter, Paul & Mary.  What can I say, it’s a classic and it’s a beautiful song.  I listen to it on my way to work and I get teary eye every time!

I would love to use Feels like home – from the Notebook, I want to cry everytime I hear it, I still need to sell my finace on it, lol. We are going to decide on a song together, each make a few suggestions and then pick one- but this one is def at the top of my list, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjky7v7JIow
