We decided that I will walk down the aisle to an instrumental version of Pink Floyd’s “Us & Them” and after we’re married, we’ll be walking back up the aisle to “Married Life” the beginning montage from the Disney/Pixar movie Up.

I am having an acoustic guitar player and so far these are the 3 songs I know for sure will be played:

Grandmother and Parent’s Seated:  I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You – Elvis

Bridesmaids:  Home – Chantal Kreviazuk

Bride: God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You – NSync / Alabama

Still looking for a good ceremony exit song!

My wedding is very formal, but I’m tired of all the classical music that is used for weddings.  So we are using movie soundtracks for almost everything.

Seating of the Mothers: Excellent Notion from Sense & Sensibility (Emma Thompson version)

Bridesmaids: End Titles from Emma (the Gwyneth Paltrow version)

Bride (ME!!!): Romantic Flight from How to Train Your Dragon

Interlude: Always, by Irving Berlin (My grandparents wedding song – I’m getting married on their 62nd anniversary)

Recessional: 1812 Overture (the end part used in V for Vendetta)
