I find that the dancing at any event does not lie so much in the music, but in the presence of that one person who is completely comfortable making a total ass of themselves in front of strangers….find that person, add alcohol & voila!  He’s shaking it with Aunt Bonnie to Shout!

I went to a wedding in August, and the DJ was awesome. I think the biggest hit was “Call Me Maybe”, oddly enough. I actually hated that song before the wedding, but it was such a blast dancing to it. Everyone was singing it, and dancing around. It was a blast.

@Nona99:  Haha… I am that person!   I totally agree!

At my wedding, Gaga, The Beegees, and Queen got everyone rocking out big time.

I hate to admit it, but I LOVE DISCO!  It’s a medical condition, there’s no treatment, other than generous helpings of the BeeGees and ABBA…it’s something almost everyone can dance to because it’s 4/4 time AND if there’s someone like me there, who has taken four years of ballroom dancing, I trip the light fantastic all night long!

We kicked off our party with The Stray Cats – Rock this Town. AWESOME track and got everyone up! Young and old! You can’t hear that and not move.
