I spent a LONG time at the post office today purchasing the postage I will need for my invitations… the reason why is that I was going back and forth between all of the choices…
Do I go with pink/green/orange lilies? the black & white titanic ones? the cute baby raccoons? regular Queen Elizabeth? a weird but cute black & white cow?
I ended up going with the titanic ones because our envelopes are silver (invite) and red (rsvp return envelope) and our colours are black/grey/red… but then a friend of mine and I were joking around about the symbolism of a “sinking ship” on our wedding invitations! haha
Anyway – what design did you choose and why?

I picked these Canadian heritage sight stamps. I picked them because 1) they had old buildings on them which fit our venue/theme (we got married at a registered heritage sight in Quebec, a rustic sugar shack in the woods) and they had red in them, which was one of my wedding colours and matched our invitations.

We had a custom stamp made through Canada Post and it was a huge hit! The stamp is a picture of us. 🙂
I also got some stamps of bunnies kissing which I used on a few outer envelopes (everyone got at least 1 personalized stamp on the RSVP card envelope inside).

I want to use the Pixar or Girl Scout Centennial stamps since we support Disney and the GS, but we’ll probably end up with the froofy wedding ones.
