As someone who works with kids, I love this thread! I definitely agree with you that kids aged 7-11 are the biggest assholes! Thats helped curb my baby fever. When I worked with toddlers I’m pretty sure my uterus throbbed I wanted a baby so bad some days hahaha. What really worked was getting a dog, he’s totally my little baby and will never turn into a 7-year old asshole haha.

Hah! It’s so true through. We have a cute cat and he helps at times as he can be super high maintenance. Appreantly, Snowshoe cats have a “diva” complext…I totally believe it.
Also, as others have stated, MONEY! We set a timeline of next summer (2015) to start trying for our first, and the minute we did I started thinking about our finances, how much daycare costs, insurance, etc. That’ll scare the shit out of you for sure.

babysitting my cousins kids – 5 years old, 14 month old with an upset tummy and a 3 month old – while trying to cook dinner.
I burned part of the dinner and I only got one to sleep by the time the parents came home.
They are available if anyone needs help putting baby fever on hold LOL
