    Its almost a cross between A line and fit and flare. Fit and flare usually flares out below the hips and this is just at the hips. Mermaid is considered to flare out about knee height.

    I would say its a dropped A-line.  You could classify it as a fit and flare also but either way its gorgeous.

    I think its an aline.  To me, a fit and flare would start lower in the thigh.  I see the satin starting to go around your hip.

    @JaneRachel:  Other than the silloutte its not the same but here is my dress, I’m taking the straps off the shoulders, the dress poofs out a lot more on me than the model:
