Last week I had my 12 week appointment with my doctor. Prior to the appointment, I had been taking folic acid and a multivitamin. I left the appointment with a prescription for iron, calcium and vitamin D. What are you all taking?

@Monny: I’m taking a prenatal vitamin, plus a DHA supplement and a calcium supplement. I feel like a pill popper!

I’m taking NatureMade Prenatals with DHA. They make me want to throw up, but oh well!

I’m taking prenatals and a delicious chewable calcium. I recommend chewable whenever possible- it’s like candy every morning!

I take prenatals, folic acid and then my dietician told me to start calcium. So those are the 3 I’m on.

I take prenatals with DHA, fish oil with omega 3, vitamin D, and calcium.
My prenatal already has the recommended folic acid amount, so I don’t take extra folic acid or anything.

I’m 10 weeks 1 day. I take rainbow light prenatals and their DHA supplement, I take B6 to help my morning sickness, I take magnesium to help with my muscle cramps and I take vitamin d3 because my doctor said it’s a must. I guess I should probably start taking calcium too.

Yall might want to try the vitamin drink Vemma. It is safe for pregnant women. My friend took that during her pregnancy. They sell energy drinks too so dont confuse Vemma with their other drink Verve (energy). Obviously you dont want the energy drinks. Ask your doctory before trying it course. But her doctor told her she could drink it and her baby came out just fine.

@Monny: I’ve been taking the New Chapter prenatals. they are food-based, easy to digest, and no fluorescent pee!
I also take Wild fish oil supplement for DHA and essential fatty acids, and recently I’ve started taking a cal/mag supplement since I’m at 23 weeks now and my baby’s bones are growing and I don’t want to get arthritis like my Mom did.
My blood test showed I do not need Iron.
