Programs might be good. Aisle decoration is optional. If you’re actually getting married in August as your profile suggests, fans for your guests would be nice.


Bubble or flowers for a staged exit.

@2littleslauren:  You’ll need a pillow for the rings and ring bearer to carry, if you’re having one. You’ll also need petals and a basket if you’re having a flower girl. You might need a guest book and pen with table, as well.

You will probably need something to define the front area where the ceremony is taking place. We used wrought-iron candle screens (surprisingly affordable in the summer months!). We also had a podium for our officiants to stand behind and have their readings rest on (this was also part of our sound system). We also had a small table in front of that with flowers and candles, which were decorative but also for our unity ceremony. Sounds yours will have the materials for your sand ceremony up there as well!

You don’t have to have music for your ceremony, but it is a nice touch. Any other sort of decor (aisle decor, tent decor) is optional but also nice.

Honestly, though, the bare minimum is chairs for your guests.
