Wondering what flavors people picked for their wedding cakes or wedding desserts.
Our 3-tier cake will have a bottom tier that is golden butter cake with a chocolate ganache filling, a middle tier of tiramisu cake with a tiramisu filling, and a top tier of dark chocolate cake with a raspberry filling. The whole cake will be iced in chocolate ganache!
We’re also having key lime pie tartlets, and s’mores at the fire pits at our venue!

Middle: Lemon cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream
Bottom: Dark chocolate cake with caramel filling and dark chocolate ganache.

Champagne cake with vanilla buttercream filling

4 teir cake… 2 layers of red velvet with cream cheese filling, 2 layers of dark chocolate raspberry with a blackberry cabernet filling.
The groomscake is carrot cake with a sweet cream cheese filling.

Oh, sorry, I wasn’t clear. The top layers were chocolate ganache, white buttercream, and chocolate ganache. It was a mismatched cake!

I believe we are going with a chocolate cake and peanut butter icing. We are also going to have a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cake too (since it’s a Vermont wedding!) and gigantic chocolate chip cookies. Now I’m hungry for sweets!!

Okay, everyone’s making me hungry! We had a dessert buffet: Aladdin’s Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake, baklava cheesecake, NY style, turtle cheesecake, tiramisu, carrot cake, russian tea cakes, cannolis, chocolate covered strawberries and truffles (mint, peanut butter & fudge).

Went in thinking something plain so everyone eats it, then decided if I’m paying 300 for this thing, I’m getting what I want…I’ll eat the whole thing if I have too lol…Top layer will be pistachio with white chocolate filling, the second is a pink velvet (that’ll be white? lol) with white chocolate strawberry filling, and then a tuxedo layer with white chocolate again, covered in traditional butter cream.

I’m making and decorating our wedding cake. 4 tiers:
chocolate cake with salted caramel filling and chocolate ganache
Almond butter cake with nutella buttercream
Cookies and cream cake with vanilla buttercream
carmelized apple cake with brown sugar buttercream
I may be more excited for the cake than anything else!

We’re having three. Wedding cake will be vanilla with mango and raspberry filling.
Then two sheet cakes–one chocolate and one carrot cake.

Red Velvet/Vanilla Amaretto/Carrot Cake. All AMAZING!! We set them up plated in small pieces and people got to try as many as they liked. No complaints.

I’m having a small wedding! Small 3 tier cake — buttercream frosting… large middle layer is strawberry with fresh berry filling, and the other smaller tiers will be devils food with a chocolate mousse filling 🙂 And chocolate covered strawberries to compliment 🙂
