@fischisparkles: I didn’t read this before I read your other post, but the same thing has happned to me in the past few weeks.

I went to a party and a majority of the peopel there I only see once a year, and they all asked. One said, “Oh its been a year since I saw you last, and I just assumed it was about that time”. Then, my supervisor asked if my Mother-In-Law was helping us move in June and then my dental assistant announced to the 2 orthodontists in the room that my fiance does XYZ and knows a persont hat they know”. The ortho wrote down fiance = Mr. Speechie on my intake form and I had to correct them with an “Oh we aren’t engaged, he is just my boyfriend”, and then she scribbled it out. ::head bang::

CRUEL I TELL YOU!!!

One of BF’s colleagues introduced me to his family as BF’s wife last fall. I said, “no, I’m not his wife” and he said, “Oh same thing, it doesn’t matter”.

So annoying, but I try to laugh it off, plus you would think that Boyfriend or Best Friend would get the hint?
