Okay, random question – but I know we as women tend to have a lot of gadgets and items that have really specific/specialised uses, and sometimes guys think we’re crazy for having them…until they use them, and then they realize it’s genius!
My example? I have silicon prep cups. They hold about an ounce and a half, are brightly colored, and are great for lots of things. Lately we’ve been using them for dip – salsa for taquitos, bbq for chicken nuggets, mustard for pretzels. J looked at me like I’d escaped the zoo when I bought them, but every.single.time we use them, he comments on how much he likes them.

Good cooking utensils, before he bought everything at walmart. Sushi, now we go once a week. I guess quality over quantity in general. He now tries to look for quality items instead of just the cheapest.

I’m from New Mexico, and New Mexico has a very specific and unique local cuisine. I introduced it to my Oklahoman husband and he will be forever grateful. New Mexican food is like nothing else in the world!

The loofa and pedicures. LOL. He loves them both.

Baseball! He knew nothing about the sport when we met, but he is now a huge fan. We go to the home opener every year.

Quite a few things! But off the top of my head:
Curtains – like the typical college boy, he was using sheets and pushpins as “curtains”. Now we have an actual curtain rod, and he loves that he can let light in without taking the entire curtain down, like he had to before.
Blotting sheets – he has combination/oily skin and he is obsessed with stealing my clean&clear oil absorbing papers. Like, obsessed. He uses them more than I do.
Vegetables – not exactly a thing, but since I moved in he eats way more vegetables and has mentioned quite a few times how much fuller he feels after eating and how much more he enjoys dinners than he used to. yay veggies!

Not really “gadgets”, but here are a couple things I’ve introduced my fiance to:
All sorts of food. Both many various ethnic cuisines (Indian, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, Japanese, non-Americanized-Mexican, etc.), and also individual foods (he had never had a lot of common stuff, even stuff like asparagus, zucchini, or non-canned spinach!)
Guns. My family hunts, fiance had never owned a gun before he met me. I grew up where everyone owns guns and kids learn to shoot by age 7-8. Now he enjoys target shooting and hunting (which is great because he can bond with my dad that way!).

All I’ve actually introduced him to is the tv show ‘Merlin’ and the website thinkgeek.com. We aren’t living together yet, though, so I’m sure we’ll still learn more from each other!

Not a gadget but food-wise I introduced him to a mashed banana and peanut butter mixed sandwich with honey on it!

Hey — food is totally a valid thing to introduce to a man! Way to his heart… afterall 🙂

You know what, I got my guy hooked on Smoothies 2 weeks ago too. I finally got to break out my wedding gift Magic Bullet Blender (had one in college and I’ve missed it!) after we moved, and I made a fruit smoothie and he was totally aloof about it. The next day I came home to find the blender in the sink and him sipping a smoothie. He’s had at least one a day since then, hahahaha.

Vegetables! Turns out that he LOVES asparagus and brussle sprouts.
And, I got something from him…I didn’t eat much red meat before, but now I fight the kids for my FI’s grilled steaks!
