I have been to a few now and they have all been on a sunday. The times they started varied from 1pm to the latest which started at 3pm.

I think it depends on whether you’re inviting a bunch of people with kids (in which case earlier is better) or whether you want it to be more of an evening party vibe.  I’ve been to both.  We’re hosting one this month for friends, and a lot of guests have babies or toddlers.  It’ll be 1-5 pm for that reason.

It completely depends on the situation. I went to one today. Sunday 11am – 1pm.

I like Saturday, because more friends live out of town, and it is easier to attend on a Saturday.

@SamanthaLovesJames:  Mine will be the same time as you are planning, 1-5. I was complaining last month when I was invited to a shower at 11 am on a Saturday. To me, that’s early, I like to sleep in on my days off 🙂

Oh and I’ve been to showers on either Sat or Sun. My bridal shower and soon to be baby shower will be on a Sat bc a lot of my guests are church goers, so we didnt want a Sunday shower to interfere with that.

I’m going to one on a sunday that starts around 3 i think and ends at 5:30.  Kinda sucks bc it’s a 6 hour drive to get there, and since it’s a sunday and ends so late, I have to take monday off work so we can drive home monday…  Wish it either was earlier, or on the saturday!

It’s usually around 1-3 PM. I’ve been to four, each with a time of either 2 PM or 2:30 PM.

Usually midday-afternoon either Sat or Sun. Mine was 3pm on a Saturday.
