I have a similar timeframe.  We have the salon starting at 12:30pm for the 6 of us to get our hair and make up done.  They said it’d probably take 3 hours for all of us.  I’d imagine I might go last in the group so my make up is fresher, but not sure.  First look is at 445, ceremony at 630pm

I got my hair and make-up done 4 hours before the ceremony.  I just had my sisters touch it up right before my big moment 🙂 Our ceremony started at 4pm.

I am doing my own hair around 12:30, and the makeup artist is coming at 1:30. We’re planning to be at the venue at 3:30 as well, but it’s only a short way from the hotel I’ll be at.

I’m getting mine done…the day before. I really felt like it wasn’t in the budget to have pro makeup and hair — especially pro Sunday hair, since salons aren’t open that just jacks up the price. But you know what was in the budget? Pro makeup and my regularly scheduled cut. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when my stylist does my hair it looks as good on the second day as the first, if not better. Obviously I won’t have an updo or anything, but I was planning on wearing my hair mostly or all down anyway. I’m going to put something sparkley in it and call it good.

I did hair from 10-noon.  Traveled to the site.  Then makeup from 12:30-1:45.  Then got dressed.  Started pictures at 2:30pm.  (Ceremony was at 4pm and I didn’t get my 30 minutes to decompress before the ceremony because my family was late for pictures!).  We didn’t do a first look – so it was only my side of the family doing pictures and pics with friends.

PAD every event with 30 minutes.  My hair took longer than my hair dresser thought and you’ll want to add in time to things.  I was grateful I took the advice from someone on here and added 30 minutes to each event (hair, makeup, etc.)  I thought I’d have ample time to have some ME time pre-ceremony, but that didn’t happen!
