What time do you eat breakfast, lunch & dinner?

I’ve been trying intermittent fasting so most days I have a protein smoothie around 10am, lunch at 12:30-1:00 a snack around 3 and dinner at 6. On the weekends I have my first meal at 12 so that I can have a later dinner so all my meals those days are between 12-8. I really enjoy the intermittent so far because the ~300 calories I lose by skipping breakfast allow me more flexibility through the rest of the day and it’s kind of like I get the “dieting” part of the day over at the beginning. It also just works out really well that my yoga studio hosts a class on zoom every day from 9:30-10:30 and I wouldn’t want to eat anything before that anyway!

So for a caveat I WFH and I work with a team mostly based 3 hours behind me, so my mornings are super flexible. My H works from home now too since Covid (probably for the rest of 2020)

Breakfast: I usually have a yogurt and a coffee at 8:30am-ish

Exercise from 9-10 – I’ve tried many many times and I just cannot workout fasted. I feel lightheaded and ill every time

Breakfast: 12pm

Dinner: 5:30pmish – eating early helps us kick the snacking habit. My H and I start to usually get hungry at 3:30/4ish for a little something and instead of snacking we just do an early dinner. This holds us over and for the most part we don’t need to eat again before bedtime (every once in a while we get ice cream or something, usually on the weekends, but our regular day to day is early dinner)

I’ve thought about doing IF since I already do about 13 fasted hours lol it seems like it wouldn’t be *that* hard of an adjustment, but I just don’t see any way I can make it work with my workouts

During the school year when I work: 7:15 bfast, 10ish snack, 12ish lunch, 3ish bigger snack, 8-9 dinner and dessert! It follows my FH weird work schedule since he isn’t home until 8-9pm.

No breakfast aside from black coffee and maybe a piece of toast.  Lunch is normally left-overs from the night before, maybe 12:00 or so. Supper is pretty fixed at around 18:00 when FH is just getting home from a walk with our dog.

We have a no snacking rule during weekdays. Friday or Saturday we dine out.

It depends on which shift I’m doing at work.

Breakfast is 5:30 on the early shift, 6:30 otherwise

Snack at 10am, usually just an apple.

Lunch is 12 on early shift, 12:30 otherwise.

Dinner is just whenever it’s ready, but usually around 7ish.

I find that when I  eat breakfast it’s almost impossible for me to stay under my calorie goal of 1600! So most days I try to skip it and just have coffee. 

so:

9 – 10AM breakfast” of coffee with milk/creamer  

 1 – 2 PM – lunch 

7 – 9 pm – Dinner

Breakfast I eat late – 11 or even noon some days, I do have coffee when I wake up. 

Lunch is around 2

Dinner is around 5

I’ve been working on losing weight and this condensed eating window seems to work best for me in regard to managing my hunger. I don’t really consider it intermittent fasting though because I’m not hung up on sticking to a fasting period this is just the pattern I’ve fallen into.

I eat breakfast around 11:00 am.  I don’t eat lunch–just a snack at 3 or so.  Dinner is at 6 or 7.  I stick to a calorie goal of 1500 per day and this schedule works really well for me. My body loves it.

I’ve been doing IF for a couple of months now. I usually start eating anytime between 12pm-2pm, but I stop eating by 8pm.

Dinner:  around 6pm

I don’t eat breakfast. I eat lunch at 11:30-12:00 pm. I eat dinner between 5:30-6:30 pm. Sometimes I eat dinner later if I’m going for a hike after work, or meeting friends for a later dinner, but those are my preferred times.

Breakfast ~10am

Lunch ~ 2pm 

Dinner ~8pm

During pandemic: 

Breakfast: 8:45 AM

Snack: 11:00 AM

Lunch: 12:00 PM

Snack: 3:30 PM

Dinner: 6:00 PM

Dessert: 7:30 PM

During “Normal” Times: 

Breakfast: 7:30 AM

Snack: 10:30 AM

Lunch: 11:30 AM

Snack: 3:00 PM

Dinner: 6:30 PM
