What time do you workout?

aclockworklilac :  My situation may likely change once I don’t live alone, but I work after work and I only shower at night. I usually towel off after working out, change into some lounge clothes like sweatpants and a tank top, and relax with dinner, then shower at 8 pm before bed. I wouldn’t say I lay drenched in sweat all evening – I’m not uncomfortable lol but I live alone at the moment so I have no idea if I’m totally repulsive or not XD

during the week i go right after work. i keep my backback in my car and change at the gym. so around 6pm. on the weekends i go around 2:30. that way all the busy morning people are gone and i have most of the gym to myself. it gives me time to run errands in the morning.

I don’t workout at the gym or run outside. I go almost everywhere on foot, or go for a walk in the evenings. I hike. I’m a teacher and I’m always rushing from somewhere to the other anyway.

Before bed or after waking up I do yoga, stretching or back strengthening excercises at home for about 20 minutes a couple times a week.

I mean it works for me.

I wake up at 6am to get myself to the gym for 6.30. I then do an hour workout.  I’m lucky my house is close to gym and work.

Some days I walk to work which is about 3km. Then I walk home again.

Also every day at lunch, I walk 3.5 km with a co worker.

I exercise a lot! I have a fitbit and I’m a bit addicted

I go to the gym after work. I don’t mind waking up early, but I find that if I workout in the morning before work, I feel completely beat all day. Usually my husband or friend will come to the gym with me, so that is good socializing time ๐Ÿ™‚

On the weekdays I workout after work so starting around 5pm. It works well for me because my gym is on the way home from work. I tried the whole morning workout thing and my performance was horrible, I had to lower my intensity a lot so it wasn’t worth it. On the weekends I go early afternoon if I don’t have any plans

I workout in the morning. I prefer it, because if I wait until the afternoon and something comes up, I don’t get it done. Although, I will go for a run in the summer at night if it’s a really pretty sunset ๐Ÿ™‚

5:00am – Wake up

5-6 – Do household tasks, chores, or a “self care” activity

6-6:30am – run on ym treadmill in the winter, once the sun comes up at 6, I’ll go outside. 

6:30-7am – strength in my basement

I’m not a morning person AT ALL, but sometimes I will take my dogs on a long-ish jog before I get ready for work. The gym always happens after work though (around 5pm.) If I go home and sit down after work, I won’t be motivated enough to get back out, so I keep my gym clothes in my car and just go straight there!

I used to do mine before work, but now that I have a treadmill at home I do it at night after the kids are asleep.

I consider myself a morning person, but not that early! I usually get up at 6:30 and I’m ok with that. I tried to workout before work, but it was just too early for me and I usually shower at night so showering in the morning after my workout was just too much for me. I started working out immediately after work and it seems to be best for my schedule because I still have time to make dinner and relax before bed so I can fall asleep easily.

missexcited1985 :  I workout in the evenings after work usually between 530-630. I am not a morning person. I have to be at work at 7am so there is no way I’m getting up extra early to workout ๐Ÿ˜‚

missexcited1985 :  I workout in the evening when I get off work. I wish I were a morning person but that’s not gonna happen… know thyself. LOL. The other part of it is, I can never work as hard in the morning when my muscles are cold and I haven’t eaten anything. I’m the type where I have to have eaten for a few hours before my workout in order to really push myself. I think fasted training is crazy (for me).

Not a morning person at all but I get up at 5 am to walk 4 miles Mon-Fri. If I don’t get it done before work it won’t get done. I’m easily distracted from exercising bc I seriously don’t want to do it. ๐Ÿ˜… Also do 20-30 minutes of PIYO and 5 minutes on Maxi Climber after walking. Bought the PIYO DVD set years ago but it was collecting dust until last summer. Turns out I actually kind of enjoy it. Not a gym fan.

Weekends are exercise free.  โค

During the week, right when I get home from work 430-530ish. We have a home gym. We then make supper, walk the dog, and do some work.

On weekends I workout first thing when I get up.
