My wedding is on the Sunday before Labor Day Monday. If I go with the standard 5 hours, my reception will end at 10:30. I know I’ll be exhausted by 10:30 in the evening, but others might have more party left in them. I’m wondering if I should extend the reception by another hour to 11:30 (of course there is a cost associated with this). There isn’t really an after party venue near by (i.e. hotel bar).
What time is your reception ending? And what are you doing afterwards?

My DH and I left out reception at 10:30 and the shuttle bus departed at 10:45. We were tired and wanted to get to the wedding night fun, so we went to our BnB. ๐ Some of our guests went out to bars, some partied in their hotel rooms, and others went to bed! we didnt feel the need to organize anything after and nobody expressed any distaste or concern. ๐

Ha! 4pm. My wedding is at noon. Reception is around 1-4. We’re still deciding about what we’ll do immediately after.

Ours is over at 11. I have a feeling we are going to be exhausted. Fiance wants to keep the party going though. I am considering just gettting a few suites at a nearby hotel so that if we want we can keep going, or we can go to sleep any everyone else can keep partying.

Ours will be over by around 6pm. And I don’t really know what guests will be doing, but more than likely I’ll want to go straight to our hotel and pass out since we’ll be up around 4am getting ready for our 7am first look photos. No one is local to where we’re getting married (Anaheim, Disneyland), so guests have the option of going back to their hotels, visiting Downtown Disney or visiting the park (though likely that will just be those who already have passes since it seems kind of worthless to buy a full day pass when half the day will be devoted to the wedding).

Ours is ending at 6pm. We will be heading over to the honeymoon suite for a jump on the wedding night. ๐
Most of the guests are local, so they’ll just go home. #LowKeyWedding

We are having a very relaxed small ceremony and reception, so it’s kinda just going to fade into the night until it’s time to go to sleep. We are getting married in the mountains and the couple of guests we have need to travel back down the hill to home. So BEDTIME. We are sharing a cabin (with thin walls and sliding doors) with my FI’s parents and his aunt and uncle ;////

Ours will end about 11ish (at least that’s when we’ll be leaving – our DJ is family so he said he’s happy to keep playing as long as the guests want to dance until the venue asks them to leave so I have no idea when that will be). We will then go home where he will carry me over the threshold (inside joke but it’s happening), and then we plan to consumate this ish. Although I have heard from a few of our guests that they were so tired by the end of it that they just went straight to sleep haha. Knowing us we’ll probably end up getting changed and then meeting some friends out for a few celebratory drinks.

9pm due to venue requirements. Downtown is just a short walk away from the venue (and everyone’s hotel), so we’ll be bar hopping!

Ours finishes at 11:30 and then the bus takes guests to either the after party at my friends pub or the motels as they are opposite each other.

Ours will be over at 930. The hotel that most everyone will be staying in has a pub right next door where we will be taking the after party ๐
