We get married at 1. I know I go last. Mom is getting her hair and make-up done, BM’s are just getting make-up.
I am about to reserve our MUA and they are asking for a start time. What time should we start? I was thinking 9am, so we could be done and out of the hotel by 12:30/12:40 and walk right on over to the ceremony site, which will be right down the road. Unless it rains, of course.
I will have sandwhiches, chips, drinks and goodies for everyone, so we won’t have to stop for lunch.

How many BMs? What else do you have to do that morning? Maybe ask the makeup artist what they think, they definitely have more experience with this than I do!

@ivoryowl: 2 BM’s. They told me start time was up to me. I asked what they suggested & they said it was completely up to me. I’ll try asking again.
@newname_99: Thanks 🙂

Do you have 1 person doing both hair AND make-up. Or 1 MUA AND 1 stylist?
Bride hair and make-up requires about 2.5 hours, depending on the hair style that you choose. Hair and make-up for everyone else requires about 45 minutes per service. So if you have 1 bride and 3 others, and all 4 people are getting both services, that’s 7 hours of labor. You need all labor to be done by 12:15 for a 1pm wedding to allow time for getting dresses on, jewelry on, and last minute things.
So if you have only 1 person doing both hair and make-up, you will need that person to start super effing early. In other words, you need to get a 2 person team. They should start at 8:30-9am.

@lovekiss: I think they will decide when I sign the paperwork to reserve & see how many I have, which will be 4 total.
