I don’t have this problem with my Fiance, because we just buy something we both want, but I do have this problem with my mom. She begs me to tell her something, so I think of a small thing I need and tell her to get that for me. For instance, I need a butter dish, so I asked her for a Fiestaware butter dish. If it were my Fiance and we were doing individual gifts, I’d do the same thing. If I need a new coat or something, I’ll ask for that.

If you don’t need anything and just want something…it can be anything. Do you want new dishes, a purse, perfume, a wallet? Maybe instead of something for each other, you can get something you both would use and appreciate?

When I dont have something specific I always go with the fallback fashion jewerly (earrings and necklaces) and state whether I am looking for fun/night out or work appropriate kind.

Underwear/PJs is a staple as well.

Workout clothes and other things like that that I know I could always use or replace worn out ones. IE running long sleeve shirt, even socks.

Yes.  My wish list is all over the place.  And, I’m really bad because sometimes I end up just buying it for myself.  I try to do less me shopping around Christmas time though.

I’m asking for an Ipad, but I’m not hopeful on that one! LOL.

Instead, I’m asking for some “experience” gifts like tickets to concerts and day trips for our honeymoon.
