I’m in need of advice here. I’ve long ago determined I do not want to carry a flower bouquet…..or a bouqeut of any kind. But what to carry instead?? I’m not religious, so a rosary or psalmbook won’t work…..maybe a book of poetry?
Help! Any and all ideas welcome! I’m lesd thantwo weeks from the wedding so could use alllll input!

Does your wedding have a theme?
Cool things I’ve seen:

Nope, no theme.
No bridesmaids either….those are all lovely ideas, but I am looking for something just for me to carry……

Any of those ideas could work just for you. Your favorite book, a lantern, a clutch purse would all look pretty. A stuffed toy of some sort could be fun (particularly if there is one you loved as a child, or a character that is special to the two of you). A candle if you want something more dramatic (though I’d either use a lantern or an enclosed lamp of some sort so you don’t burn yourself or get wax on you).
Yo could also carry a branch, a ribbon wand, or nothing at all if you don’t want to.

How about a feather bouquet?

A Brooch bouquet would be pretty

Glass of wine? 😉
Will it be sunny/light outside when you walk? Maybe a beautiful parisol?
If it’s dark, a small lantern with a lit candle would be gorgeous – you’d glow.

Will you be escorted down the aisle? – Will you be carrying with one hand or with two?
Do you have a well behaved dog? You could carry the end of his/her leash and have the dog at the altar with you. (wishful thinking on my part, I’m getting ready to board my pooch)

I’m just going to reply because I want to be able to get back to this post. Having the same dilemma. I want to do something other than flowers. 🙂

I would dig deep to something or someone that is important to both you and your future husband and carry something to represent that.

A nice lacy fan or a clutch?
