Has he said specifically why he’s afraid that he’s going to cheat? Is it simply because he’s never been with one woman for so long, or is it that he feels that there’s something missing from the relationship — like you’re not there enough to satisfy him so move in or expect a slip?

I’d be a little nervous with my SO admitting this fact to me. I would always have a gnawing suspicion if my SO told me this anytime something seemed out of the ordinary, like if he didn’t pick up his phone immediately or he was away for an extended period of time, but that’s just me. I am a constant worry wart!

Well I guess its great that he is honest, your communication is off to a great start!

Help me clarify his divorce comment= He needs to get a divorce from a current wife or he is just worried about committing, due to his unsure ability to stay monogamous with you?

@Dava: Rightly so that you are nervous!

Most every gal today runs into the risk of cheating wether they were warned or completely blindsided. Keep building the relationship and Im sure more trust will ensue.

Are you guys close in age?
