Frequent reader, not so frequent poster, but I have a small dilema.
Recently Fiance & I have been browsing for bands, he wants a black tungsten band. Simple enough, easy to find, and he has several he likes already picked out.
The issue we’re running into is with my ring, bought as a stand-alone at JCP. (http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom//clothing-accessories/jewelry-watches/%252470-fine-jewelry/brilliant-facets%25e2%2584%25a2-cubic-zirconia-engagement-ring/prod.jump?ppId=19f2198&Nao=24&pN=2&searchTerm=brilliant+facets&dimCombo=null&dimComboVal=null&catId=SearchResults)
I’ve tried on several kinds of bands; flat, thin, thick, and with twists much like the sides of my ring, but there is always a gap somewhere (usually near the center stone).
I have found a few from Berricle that look as though they might fit, and also a couple from a site called Two Birch, but since I have no way of trying them on against my ering I’m unsure.
Fiance however is ready to count the loss and buy a full wedding set; however a) I’m head over heels for the ring I have now and b)if that’s what he decides to do that will make my 3rd ering (the first was very delicate and damaged at the slightest nudge or scrape thus leading to the ring I have now).
Do any of you ladies have any ideas on other places I could look for a band to sit with my current ring? My current stone is a CZ so I’d like to stick with a CZ or Mossy stone in the band (providing it had stones). I really, really don’t want to resort to a new ring :(.
