It’s never too late to change your mind! I got my ‘second dress’ about two months before my wedding!  I can’t speak to how easy or hard it would be to sell a dress online, but I do know it is very common practice. Good luck 🙂

junebride026 :  it’s hard to sell. I sold mine off Craigslist, brand new, and I only got about 20% for what I paid. If you have a more popular style you might be in luck. I had dress regret too and bought a new dress so I know how it feels though!

I’ve heard very mixed reviews from people who sold their dresses online. Most say that they didn’t get very much for the dress and were dissapointed. But some found the perfect buyer and got 70% of what they paid originally. Either way you should feel good about the way you look on your wedding day so it’s worth the trouble of finding a dress you love. Try DHGate. I’ve seen lots of bees find inexpensive and gorgeous options there!

Selling might be hard — I’m trying to sell my dress now for 1/2 price and haven’t had any takers yet.

But 7 months is plenty of time, especially if you’re open to buying a sample gown or looking at preowned dresses.
