That’s it. I’, not having dancing, or toasts. So, it will be just a hang out wih some jazz. I’m also afraid that it will be such a bore. But then again, it’s my wedding and they can come if they want!

Is your reception going to be outdoors?  If so, you can always play lawn games like croquet, horseshoes or cornhole.

I worry that people won’t dance, that people won’t have a good time, all kinds of things. My FH says though that if we’ve provided food, music and drinks then it’s their own fault if they’re not having a good time and he’s absolutely right. People will be happy to be there and happy to see each other and I’m trying hard not to worry.

@cutexkitty: It’s the same for you, you’re providing loads of things for your guests and ultimately it’s up to them to have a good time! And I’m sure they will! You could always include some games if you wanted to and just in case though? We’re not having any but I know lots of people do and enjoy them and it might make you feel better to have a few up your sleeve?

I think a lot of people worry about this but there is no need to worry! A wedding is a celebration of the bride and groom there is no need to ENTERTAIN your guests.

A good party is made up of good food, good music, drinks ;-P, and great company!!!! Looks like you have checks across the board!

And most importantly – if YOU – the bride and groom are having fun – your guests will have fun!!!!
