Our theme is Texas meets Florida.. I’m originally from the great state of Texas and we are doing our wedding with lace burlap and a touch of coral. My mom aunt and father thinks I should go with this ruffled with a flower dress but my heart I has fallen for the lace with sparkle.
Mom torn because my aunt is paying for the dress…

I love your dress because it is also my dress! If you love it keep it! It is your day, your dress, your opinion!! It looks GREAT ON YOU!!! LOVE IT!

You look so beautiful in your dress! It’s your wedding, you get to make the final decision! 🙂

They are bot beautiful, although I am loving the ruffle dress on you. BUT, if YOU love the lace dress then wear it girl! It’s your wedding.

You are the only one who needs to love your dress….just because someone else has generously offered to pay for it doesn’t mean that they get an opinion. I would hope that your parents and aunt want you to have the dress you want!

As long as YOU are happy! Pick the one your love and the one you can see yourself walking down the aisle in .

I almost always pick lace over the ruffle, but I kind of agree that it fits your theme better and is cuter. BUT it’s YOUR wedding. Wear what makes you feel beautiful. No one likes my dress either, but screw them.

I say rock the one you love, they’re both beautiful. Personally I like the lace better because ruffles just aren’t my thing.

My two cents:
The ruffly flower dress is very young. Makes me think of a prom dress or even a little girl’s tutu with all that dimension. (The top is very flattering on you, though.)
The lace dress makes you look like a grown-up, sophisticated woman. It’s extremely figure-flattering all the way from the bust through the hips — chic without being too “sexy.”
You look nice in both, but I think that your instincts are correct: the lace and sparkle one is best.

Know that it’s ok to pick a dress that you love, even if your family doesn’t love it. They aren’t going to be wearing the dress.

Lace is classic and timeless- ruffles are very trendy. I love you in the lace- get what you love:)

I LOVE THE LACE DRESS!! You look amazing in both, however. But I’m not a big fan of ruffles 🙁
I was also the odd man out choosing a dress for me, too… for the final decision, I brought my aunt and my grandmother, who both loved a dress I didn’t really care for ver much. I loved a dress that they both thought was too big and swallowed me up…..
Then I brought my dad to see his opinion (always have been a daddy’s girl) and he preferred the dress I liked. DONE deal! 🙂
