We went to st lucia in June for our honeymoon! We did zip lining in the jungle, horseback riding tour that actually let us swim with the horses, snorkeling (which was great), and we went to a couple botanical gardens. But honestly the thing I enjoyed most was just relaxing on the island, its so beautiful and theres no way you could ever get bored there.

So, I think the dinner on the beach is too touristy (we honeymooned at Sandals St. Lucia too) and a scam IMO as you get the same food from the restaurant that is already included but then pay again for the service. On Christmas day, I  imagine many people will be home for the holiday so I’m not sure how an excursion would turn out, the things you want to see (volcano, waterfalls, etc. are all regulated and may not be open). Thus I voted for the massage. We parasailed from the beach at the Grande and that was an amazing experience (not conencted to the hotel, you need to hire a guy on the beach so this may not be a Christmas day option either).

We got back from St. Lucia last Tuesday, and we did the Souferier (not sure of spelling) Adventure Cruise which took you to the Botanical Gardens and the volcano.  The boat ride was great and the rum punch was strong!  It’s a 7 hour event.  We also visited the other two resorts that were a part of the deal and went on the shopping tour.  The shopping tour was ok, basically good for souveneirs.

Overall, relax on the island.  Nothing beat laying out by the pool with a drink in your hand relaxing with your new spouse!
