I just checked my facebook and saw a friend who I use to be very close to in high school online. Her mom just died about 2 weeks ago. But I haven’t talked to her in at least 2 years, not because of any fight, we just live hours away and dwindled through college and grad school talking to one another.
But then I thought facebook chat seemed innappropriate to be making that kind of comment and might be putting her on the spot to have a conversation. I don’t have her home address to send a card and am not even sure if I have her email address anymore, though I could find definately track it down. I guess I shouldn’t say anything since I don’t want to put her on the spot, but I have been thinking about her and seeing her online made me feel like maybe I should say something, but I’m not sure. Should I track down her email or home address? I’m not usually not much of a card person, and would rather email, but this seems like an appropriate time for a card. Thoughts?
