  • poll: What would you do with non-RSVPer's?

Tell them if we haven't heard by deadline then they can't come

Add them to seating plan and caterers numbers and hope they show up

Exclude them from seating plan and caterers numbers and deal with it on day

    other - please explain

“Guys, I know things are tough for you right now but this isn’t something I can wiggle on the day of.  It’s not a BBQ, we have a seating chart and rented platewear and a per guest head count.  If I put you down as coming and you can’t make it, we’re out a few hundred dollars in rentals and food that will be unused.  If I don’t count you and are there anyway, they charge 50% more for the extra heads.  I’d really like to be able to accomodate you but I really need a for sure answer by <date>.  If you’re still unsure or have not responded to me by then, I am going to sadly have to put you down as a “no”.  I wish you guys can be there and I hate to be a hardass but this thing is expensive and “we’ll let you know the day of” is not something I can deal with.”
