Ugh that’s frustrating. I have to say that my dress was tight up in the bust area when I went for fittings, but at my last fitting I got sweaty and it stretched out a bit. By the end of the wedding day, it was loose! I was very active and athletic right around my wedding and tried eliminating the little areas of fat on my back/by my armpit and they just wouldn’t go away. I felt a little self conscious of them before the wedding, but now when I look at the pictures I think I was being crazy! Definitely doesn’t show in pictures.

So my main advice is to not go crazy working out because I don’t think it really helps those areas. I was doing a lot of lat pull downs, bench presses, etc which are supposed to help and I did feel strong but didn’t see a difference. If you don’t think it’s TOO tight then I’d leave it- your dress will likely stretch a bit while you get ready. Or just have them alter it, since I do think it would be worth the fee to feel sent and confident.

Minae:  My sister in law had this problem for hers, her bridal shop lady simply slipped in a board at the back, one that went with the dress and couldn’t even tell it was there. This works if you have all those tie up bits at the back though

No exercise you do can ever spot reduce any area of your body, unfortunately. If you’re not doing further alterations, I’d stick with a low sodium and low carb diet, which will be a fast way to lose bloat and water weight.

Minae:  Cut out salt, sugar and drink a ton of water. I mean really hydrate. Nothing makes you bloated like dehydration/water retention.

And no you cant spot size reduce, but you can absolutely tone. Push-ups, chest flys, and planks, are all going to help tone the chest and back.

Also no bra, but you may have already done that/had cups put in.

If you’re like a lot of brides, you will lose some weight before your wedding without even trying. My dress was quite tight in the fittings a few weeks before, but on the day it actually felt a little loose!!

Minae:  You could do a 2 day isagenix cleanse, you can lose like 2 kg in 2 days. Or whats cheaper is just doing phase one atkins and staying in phase one until the day.

Minae:  I got the recommendation from a friend so you should try this out before but apparently you can make a bra out of duck tape and tissues. She did have boobs and did it because she had a low back dress. I have boobs but do not have a low back dress so I haven’t tried this though. No clue how but I guess it’s a beauty pageant trick so I’m sure you could find it on google

There are these wraps that cut inches after a few hours. I used them a while back and dropped back down 3 sizes over 2 and a half weeks. Kinda pricey, nothing permanent, but effective for the time being. They’re called it works. I plan to use them again coming up to my pics and wedding. It rids water weight etc. You clean the skin with Witch Hazel apply the wrap, wrap saran wrap and leave it. I put in a few movies then removed them. One every 3 days. Drink TONS of water.

You know what else it could be? Where you near your period time? I tried on my dress a few days ago and my boobs were massive because it was the week before aunt flo visited. I retain water at that time too so it makes me fuller than I am.

those things come Into play too so keep that in mind.

i suggest you continue your low sodium, low sugar diet with a ton of water, and you’ll see the big difference soon. Also take fiber. It makes you go to the bathroom more and you get rid of a lot of unwanted stuff.

You want your dress to be tight. You’ll be wearing it all day on your wedding day and it will definitely stretch.
