@bluefrog33:  I have one that takes up space in my closet, I will probably give it to Goodwill eventually. I have yet to actually meet someone who had reworn their Bridesmaid or Best Man dress.

Sell it, donate it, toss it, or leave it in the back of your closet.

Mine are just sitting in my closet. They are not my style at all, so I have no idea why I am still hanging on to them…

are there any military bases in your area? there are groups/organizations that collect dresses for ball gown give aways. i was actually able to find my dress for last year’s ball at a give away event 🙂

i believe some high schools also collect dresses to give away to students for prom, winter formal, etc.

@bluefrog33:  If you ever have daughters, they’re great for playing dress-up. (I’m not joking, my daughters did, they loved wearing the brightly coloured dress). ETA: May not work if it’s strapless though.

I brought mine from a wedding I was in to a local seamstress and had a floor length dress shortened into a tea length party dress that I’ve worn to a wedding and other events. The cost to shorten it was minimal, maybe $50
