I bought 103 chargers from a MOB on here and due to her absolutely crappy packing skills – I swear 2 yr olds must have packed them – I now have a grand total of 65 that I can use.
I have the other (various states of cracked from slightly cracked to shattered) chargers in a garbage bag ready to toss but garbage day is not till next Monday. Any ideas if I can use these broken plates for anything? We try really hard to limit garbage and reuse where possible so I feel really wasteful tossing over 30 of these things. They are the poly/plasticy kind.

Maybe you can crush them up further and use as vase filler?

@candykiss: We’re not having vases, good thought though. I thought of doing that for planting in pots just around the house but I’m afraid the poly stuff will poison whatever I put it in with :paranoid!:
Maybe a mural or something. So fricking annoying an maddening

Make a mossaic to hang on your wall maybe?

I’m shocked to hear so many of them broke in shiping if they are plastic. I googled broken plate crafts and there are a lot of mosiac things but I’m not sure if yours are all the same color, that may be boring. This could work if you have a chipped and not totally broken one http://veryheatherly.blogspot.de/2011/05/1-box-of-broken-dishes-3-crafts.html That would also be cute as a cake holder.
Here’s a lot more inspiration ideas:
